The Murly Tuck Cafe, Tarves - Opens!
The new community café within Tarves's former GP surgery will officially open today by Mrs Laing, wife of the late Dr Laing who originally started the GP surgery. LA provided a complimentary service to assist our client with the building warrant drawings and application to help get the works progressing.
The building was originally a school, turning into the villages GP surgery from 1970's until two years ago. Tarves Development Trust (TDT) took on the lease and generated funding for the project and create the heart of the community.
The café has employed local youngsters and also has a room available for use for meetings or classes by the community including local groups.
