Kinellar Community Hall

The existing Community Hall was accommodated in the old Leys Hall which was demolished and the proceeds from the sale of the site for residential development used towards building a new community hall on an alternative site in Blackburn.
The building includes a main hall, smaller two multi-purpose halls, a gym, kitchen and toilet / changing facilities. The hall is well used by the playgroup, church, dance groups, bowling club etc.

Aluminium Wave Roof Profile
The hall was designed with a contemporary aluminium wave roof profile to maximise the height available internally for the Games Hall but reduce to a more human scale along the Street edge. This also ties in well with the steeply climbing levels of the adjacent residential development.
