Key relevant experience:

Macadam Design, Aberdeen 1988 – Sept 1993
Technician working in association with Project Designers in the preparation of architectural structural and civil engineering and production drawings including domestic housing, Bridges and blast proof/radiation proof buildings for Shell Oil, Scotoil and Ministry of Defence.

Extensive survey experience of various types including EDM, Total Station and Tachometric.
Housing Association Projects completed at Garthdee, Aberdeen and Coplandhill, Peterhead. Various domestic properties across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

Responsible for a team of one of two within the office, working on a wide variation of projects types and value, through all stages of design and construction from inception to completion.

Projects that have been completed are: Fisher Offshore building over last 15 years (Design Award in Business Category for Main Offices), John Bell Pipeline Offices and warehouses, Kintore Hall refurbishment, redevelopment of Lonach Hall, Stathdon (Design Award for Conservation and Sustainability). Various housing developments across North East of Scotland, storage and distribution centre for ARR Craib Transport, Cumbernauld; new clubhouse for Insch Golf Club; office and training developments for Turriff Contractors in Falkirk and Dundee. Various domestic developments and conversion across North East of Scotland. Scania Garage, Inverness. Facility development for Schlumberger, Inverurie. Pre-fabricated and modular buildings and pods for R B Farquhar, New facility redevelopment for Pipeline Technique Ltd, Commercial and residential development for EIS Waste Services, New Offices and Grain Store for Aberdeen Grain Farmers UAP.
