Chapel of Garioch
Sitting at the base of the Bennachie's Mither Tap the views into the site are just as spectacular as out. Our clients wished us to create a for ever home, taking advantage of the views and sun from all rooms.
The clients opted for an internal oak frame to create a stunning open plan kitchen/family room. All the bedrooms designed so that they are accessed off a single corridor. Each room has a large picture window and external door to allow direct access to the garden.
Energy efficient timber double glazed windows allow the house to take advantage of natural light and the spectacular views of the surrounding area.
Quality craftmanship of the oak frames is matched by the mason work. Pink granite was used on the South gable, in keeping with traditional building materials
The project also included a timber-clad double garage. The garage was used to house an energy efficient biomass boiler
